As a part of the Golden Entertainment network, PT’s Taverns owns and operates PT’s Gold, PT’s Pub, PT’s Ranch, Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold, and SG Bar.
The establishment was recently awarded "Best Happy Hour" in Las Vegas Review-Journal's 2021 Best of Las Vegas Awards. Not only this, but they have also previously been awarded "Best Happy Hour" in the 2020 Las Vegas Weekly All-Time Best of Vegas Awards, "Best Sports Bar," "Best Wings," "Best Late Night Eats," and "Best Power Lunch" in the 2019 Best of Las Vegas readers' poll.
A Winning Partnership
In 2019, Golden Entertainment partnered with WSD to re-imagine its website strategy and develop a custom user interface, modular website template, and a member manager that would work cohesively for all of its properties. Since then, we have developed ten sites for Golden Entertainment using our custom template and base code.
About: Golden Entertainment is one of America's most notable publicly-traded gaming companies – operating ten casino resorts, PT's Taverns, which includes 60 neighborhood pubs, and slot route operations on more than 10,500 gaming devices in Nevada, Montana, and Pennsylvania.
A Cool New Site
Our design and development teams were excited to build a new website for PT's Taverns. Through project discovery, we learned that the primary goals were to move the site off of the WordPress platform to reduce vulnerabilities and increase content management usability for staff. Understanding their needs and having already built the Golden Entertainment website framework, we got to work right away with a clear plan of action.
Leveraging the custom code-base we created for Golden Entertainment, we gave PT's Taverns the improved WCAG/ADA compliance capabilities they needed as well as the ability to manage the site content from a central admin hub. We also modified the Golden Entertainment web template to accommodate a tavern by removing unnecessary resort features such as the booking bar. Our developers added an integration that enabled the online ordering of food and beverages, and our designers customized the book a party and gallery page.
