Concrete Form and Function: A Pennsylvania Subcontractor’s Website Receives an Overhaul

WebSight Design (WSD) recently launched a ground-up redesign of desutaconcreteforms.com. The vision of founder Dave Desuta was to go from "worst to first'' in his market, which he achieved. The legacy site was 12 years old, had a dated look and was not maintained. The previous website was inconsistent with Desuta Concrete Forms’ (DCF) value proposition and needed to more accurately reflect the brand. DCF came to WSD to develop a professional, fully responsive website that was better than its larger competitors.

Branding Assets

Branding-wise, WSD only had DCF’s logo as a foundation. The client loved the hand-drawn aspect of it, which mimicked the look of architectural drafting, so WSD incorporated this same element into the website buttons, which have a hand-drawn outline or a hand-drawn arrow. WSD chose a navy blue to complement the existing neutral and olive green base.

Visual Appeal

The new website has ample room for photos — all swappable via the CMS. Photos are populated throughout the site and also in a separate photo gallery.

Big bold phone numbers and contact information make it easy to see the areas of service and to contact the company.

"A special thanks to WebSight Design for the major overhaul and upgrade their team did for my website, www.desutaconcreteforms.com. Literally within 72 hours after launch, a major potential client from overseas noticed the site and contacted me to discuss future business opportunities they will have in my local area. This lead has given me confidence my website improvements will be a worthwhile investment."  — Dave Desuta
