Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, Parsons also has offices in Hobe Sound, Florida and Denver, Colorado. The firm services individuals, trusts, foundations, and institutions and currently maintains over 1,500 accounts.
When the Parson’s WordPress developer started to falter, John B. Trevor IV called his high school friend and WSD cofounder Alex to help with hosting and to redesign a new website. After an extensive vetting process, Parsons was further reassured that WSD had serviced other regulated financial clients.
Out with the old, in with the new
Color-wise, the original site was muted. While a conservative color palette appealed to the client, WSD punched up the blue to a bolder navy that exudes confidence and stability. The client had a large selection of photos, from the outside of their building to candid shots of the team at work. Instead of the pale, watermarked look they had before, we punched up the images to full-opacity. Directional shapes and high contrast provide focus for users to better absorb the messaging on this WCAG compliant website.
The new website is built on a sleek Laravel foundation which includes an easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS). The client can keep their quarterly newsletter updated, manage team bios, and update the content on any page. The result is a well-maintained website that the client can be proud of.
