US Friends of Givat Haviva is the American arm of the Israeli organization Givat Haviva. For nearly 60 years, Givat Haviva has brought Israel’s Jews and Arabs together by means of “coexistence through dialogue.” Givat Haviva is guided by a theory of change focused on building the infrastructure of an Israeli Shared Society. Givat Haviva believes in a society inclusive of its members, where all the country’s citizens, regardless of gender, religion, or ethnicity feel safe, respected, and have the belief that Israel is their shared home.

Long-time client Jonathan Lack serves as the board's interim Executive Director. Having worked on several projects with WebSight Design, Jonathan knew that we were a solid fit to design and develop usfogh.org. He came to us to create awareness in the US for the organization’s initiatives and to increase and accept donations.
The site is built on our Yii open-source PHP framework. We leveraged the custom typeface crafted by the designers of givathaviva.org that seamlessly displays Hebrew, Arabic and English font sets. A translator widget ensures that the fonts present optimally in all three languages.
In an era when peace is fragile, we are honored to be a part of the voices that unite, not divide.
