Client Overview: Located in Saint Louis, MO, MARIS provides multiple listing services to over 13,000 real estate professionals in 62 counties across Missouri and Illinois. As an MLS, MARIS believes in enabling its members with the latest business solutions, educational resources, and hands-on support. 

The Challenge

With an outdated website that needed a complete overhaul and in need of a re-fresh, MARIS MLS sought to revamp its online presence to support growth marketing efforts. Through a collaborative engagement with 1000watt, WSD engaged with MARIS to develop a dynamic, custom website. For MARIS, the website needed to be intuitive, easy to use and navigate, so that members could access technical solutions and educational resources while on the go. 

Our Strategy

Understanding the challenge and considering solutions, the team at WSD worked closely with MARIS to bring their new brand and digital design elements to life with innovative, custom development solutions. 

As a content-rich website, the site was designed to feature 'related' content on each page as a way to encourage members to learn more about MARIS's products and services. We created a robust network of content managers to support the content journey – allowing staff to cross-relate videos, blog articles, products, classes, and support articles. 

To improve the members' access to products and services, we built a product dashboard and API integration with MARIS's single-sign-on provider – making it easier to access technical applications and register for events with greater ease.

The Result

Following MARIS's new website launch in October 2018, the company received industry praise from Greg Robertson via Vendor Alley and Kevin Hawkin from WAV Group. The MLS also experienced higher member engagement levels than ever before, and in February 2019 added the 14th association to its market area – further supporting growth marketing goals.
